Premolars
Humans have 4 types of teeth. The premolars are next to the canine teeth.
Uses of the premolars
- The premolars are much flatter than the canine teeth.
- Premolars are flatter to help with grinding and crushing food.
Location of the premolars
- We have 8 premolars in total:
- There are four premolars on the top jaw.
- There are four premolars on the bottom jaw.
