  • A verse is a part of the structure of poetry.
  • A verse is like a paragraph but in a poem.
  • Poems are usually made up of several verses.
    • Each verse is separated by a blank line.

  • Verses in poetry are usually just one sentence.
  • Each line of a poem usually ends with a comma.
  • But we can tell a verse has finished when we see a full stop.
