What are Congruent Shapes?
Congruent shapes are exactly the same size and the same shape.
All corresponding sides are equal in length.
All corresponding angles are equal in size.
Shapes are still congruent even if they are rotated or reflected (flipped).

Congruent vs Similar
Don't mix them up!
Congruent: Exactly the same shape AND size.
Similar: Exactly the same shape, but DIFFERENT size (enlarged or shrunk).
