Structurally, the novel can be divided into four clear sections.
1st stage

- The first stage takes place in Transylvania, as Count Dracula plots his invasion of England.
2nd stage

- In the second stage, he puts his plan into action in the seduction and conversion of Lucy.
3rd stage
3rd stage
- Following her salvation, the narrative moves into its third phase as the men plot Dracula’s downfall, spurred on by his attack on Mina.
4th stage
4th stage
- Fittingly, the novel’s narrative comes full circle as the foreign invader is driven back to his homeland before being dispatched by the combined might of the Western World.
