Adverbials of place tell us where a verb is happening. Adverbials of place work just like English.
Adverbials of place
- dans le parc - in the park
- chez moi - at my house
- sur la table - on the table
Examples
- Je parle avec ma mère chez moi.
- I’m talking to my mother at my house.
- Je joue au foot dans le parc.
- I’m playing football in the park.
- Le chat est sur la table.
- The cat is on the table.
