Ne...pas - Not
'Ne...pas' is used in French to say 'not'.
Using 'ne ... pas'
- Put 'ne' before the verb.
- Put 'pas' after the verb.
- If the verb starts with a vowel, we use n' instead of ne.
Example
- Je ne parle pas.
- I don’t speak.
- I am not speaking.
Example 2
- Je ne regarde pas.
- I don’t watch.
- I am not watching.
