Good Searching Tips
Follow these steps to help you use search engines to find what you're looking for.

What are you searching for?
- Are you searching for an image, a video, some news or a piece of text?
- Use the correct tab to display what you're looking for.

Choice of words
- Only use keywords for your search.
- Choose your keywords carefully.
- Be careful to spell your keywords correctly.

Exact match
- Use quotation marks to find an exact phrase.
- E.g. “Double, double. Toil and trouble” would show you results that matched that exact text.

Fact check
- See if the ‘facts’ are the same on different sites.
- Think about the quality of the site when you decide whether to trust the information.
