Malware - Viruses
Malware is a program that is written deliberately to cause harm. A virus is a type of malware.
Viruses
- Computer viruses can disrupt the normal running of a computer.
- Computer viruses can also do damage to your computer.
- Computer viruses can ‘spy’ on your computer use.
Avoiding viruses
- Viruses are downloaded by clicking on links in emails, in messages or on websites.
- You should NOT click on a link if you don't know what it is.
