Regular RE Verbs in the Future Tense
To form the future tense using RE verbs, take off the 'e' from the infinitive and add the future endings. Here is the example with 'prendre' (to take):
Je prendrai - I will take
Tu prendras - you will take
- 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).
Il/elle/on prendra - he/she/one will take
Nous prendrons - We will take
Vous prendrez - you will take
- 'Vous' means:
- You (plural).
- You (singular, formal).
Ils/elles prendront - they will take

- Je comprendrai - I will understand.
- Tu comprendras - you (singular) will understand.
- Il/elle/on comprendra - he/she/one will understand.
- Nous comprendrons - we will understand.

Apprendre - to learn
- J'apprendrai - I will learn.

Boire - to drink
