Irregular IR Verbs in the Imperfect tense
Any 'IR' verbs that are irregular in the 'nous' form of the present tense will have an irregular stem in the imperfect tense.
Irregular IR verbs
- Voir → nous voyons → voy
- Verbs that are irregular in the 'nous' form of the present tense all have an irregular imperfect stem.
- All you do is add the imperfect endings to the stem.
- Je voyais.
