Personal Pronouns
Spanish: AQA GCSE (2025 Exam), topic 1.1.1
Verbs
Verbs change depending on who is doing something e.g talking. (Yo) Hablo means I talk but (tú) hablas means you talk. Yo means I and tú means you but we don't have to write or say this before the verb (hablar).

Personal pronouns
- In English, we need to use I, you, he, she etc, to show the person that the verb refers to.
- But in Spanish the verb endings show who is doing what.
- It is not natural or necessary in Spanish to constantly use the personal pronouns.

Hablar - to talk
- If we take the verb 'hablar' as an example:
- 'Yo hablo' (I talk) would NOT commonly be used.
- Instead, you would just say 'Hablo'.
