London premiere (2012)
- The play had its London premiere in 2012.
- Like the novel, the play was an instant critical and commercial hit, winning 7 Olivier Awards (including ‘Best Play’).

Broadway (2014)
- After proving a hit in the UK, the play opened on Broadway in New York in 2014, winning the prestigious Tony Award for ‘Best Play’ in 2015.

National Theatre tour
