Letter Ladders
In a letter ladder question, you will be asked to change one word into another by changing just one letter at a time.
Example
- BOLT → ____ → BELL
Step 1
- Firstly, we change the word BOLT into the word BELT, by changing the ‘O’ into an ‘E’.
- BOLT → BELT
Step 2
- The word BELT can then be changed into the word BELL, by changing the ‘T’ into an ‘L’.
- BOLT → BELT → BELL
Write the answer
- So when you answer this question, you need to identify the word that bridges the gap between the two words.
- BOLT → BELT → BELL
