Rearranging Words and Making Connections

You may be asked to unscramble letters to form a new word. You may also be asked to make sure that the new word has a connection with two other words you are given. Look at these examples:

(south, west) THORN

(south, west) THORN

  • You need to unscramble THORN to make a word that is linked to 'south' and 'west'.
New word: NORTH

New word: NORTH

  • 'South' and 'west' are both directions. So you are trying to make another direction word from THORN.
(stories, narratives) STEAL

(stories, narratives) STEAL

  • You need to unscramble STEAL to make a word that is linked to 'stories' and 'narratives'.
New word: TALES

New word: TALES

  • 'Stories' and 'narratives' both describe events. So you are trying to make another word for describing events from STEAL.
