Doubling Sequences
In ‘doubling’ questions, the next number in the sequence will be double that of the previous number.
Example sequence
The numbers double each time
Work out the next number
- The next number in the sequence will be 16 × 2.
- 16 × 2 = 32
Work out the next number
- The next number in the sequence will be 32 × 2.
- 32 × 2 = 64
