Seneca's Adaptive Learning Platform
Since its creation, Seneca has used AI to personalise homework and revision.

Smart algorithm
Smart algorithm
- Seneca's methodology uses retrieval practice as its basis.
- That is, we provide lots and lots of questions for students to consolidate their knowledge.
- The questions are not always the same! Seneca's algorithm takes into account each student's previous answers to select the best next question.
- This ensures that pupils are studying at an optimised level and pace.

Smart learning mode
Smart learning mode
- Seneca has several study modes. One of them is our Smart Learning Mode.
- It uses students' progress data to recommend what topics to study and when to study.
- It also uses research data, such as Ebbinghous' forgetting curve, to suggest the optimal moment for each student to revisit each topic.

Smart reassign
Smart reassign
- Teachers can reset an assignment to their classes based on how each student performed the first time.
- For example, if student A answered 90% of the questions correctly, the teacher may want to set them a different revision homework than student B, who only answered 30% correctly.
