  • "Mille" is always singular, which means that it never takes a final '-s.'
    • 1000 - mille.
    • 2000 - deux mille.
    • 3000 - trois mille.
    • 2021 - deux mille vingt et un.

  • "Cent" becomes plural only with round numbers.
