- Combine one word from the first list and one word from the second list to make a new word.

First try - plate
- Take the first word (plate).
- Add plate to the start of each word in the second group.
- Platecake is NOT a word.
- Platetoast is NOT a word.
- Platetea is NOT a word.

Second try - pan
- If you cannot make a new word, take the second word from the first group (pan) and try to make a new word:
- Pancake IS a word.

Answer
- The new word is PANCAKE.
