These are more prepositions that will be very useful:
Parmi - amongst
- Il n'y a que dix filles parmi tous les élèves.
- There are only ten girls amongst all the students.
- Ils doivent sélectionner parmi eux.
- They need to choose amongst themselves.
Malgré - despite
- Malgré la circulation, je suis arrivé à l'heure.
- Despite the traffic I arrived on time.
- Malgré le temps, je vais y aller à pie.
- Despite the weather, I will walk.
Selon - according to
- Selon l'auteur.
- According to the author.
- Selon la méteo, il fera chaud demain.
- According to the forecast, it will be hot tomorrow.
