Key vocab
- Hier - yesterday.
- Avant-hier - the day before yesterday.
- Dernier, dernière - last.
- Auparavant - formerly, in the past.
- Avant - before.
- Il y a - ago.
- Longtemps - for a long time.
- Récemment - recently.
- Être sur le point de (faire...) - to be about to (do...).
- Être en train de (faire...) - to be (doing...).

- Le mois dernier j'étais en vacances.
- Last month I was on holiday.
- Il y a un mois, il a perdu son portable.
- A month ago he lost his phone.
- Jusqu'à récemment j'habitais avec mon frère.
